VEHICLE PICKUP & STORAGE

This policy explains Mitchell Motorworks' procedures for completed vehicle pickup, vehicle release, storage, and vehicles remaining at our facility after service is completed.

COMPLETED VEHICLE NOTIFICATION

Mitchell Motorworks will notify the customer when authorized service has been completed or when the vehicle is otherwise ready for pickup.

Customers are responsible for maintaining current contact information and responding to communications regarding their vehicle.

PAYMENT & VEHICLE RELEASE

All amounts due must be paid in full before the vehicle, keys, or other property will be released unless another payment arrangement has been approved by Mitchell Motorworks in writing.

Vehicles will be released only to the customer or another person authorized by the customer. Mitchell Motorworks may request identification or confirmation of authorization before releasing a vehicle or keys.

VEHICLE PICKUP

Customers should arrange to pick up completed vehicles promptly after notification that the vehicle is ready.

Pickup outside normal business hours must be arranged and approved by Mitchell Motorworks in advance. Keys will not be left in or around unattended vehicles unless a specific release arrangement has been agreed upon.

STORAGE OF COMPLETED VEHICLES

Customers are expected to arrange pickup promptly after being notified that their vehicle is ready.

Completed vehicles should be picked up within three business days after notification. Vehicles remaining at Mitchell Motorworks beyond that period may be subject to a $25 per calendar day storage charge, unless other arrangements have been approved by Mitchell Motorworks in advance.

Storage charges may also apply to vehicles remaining at the facility after repairs are declined, service is discontinued, or the customer has otherwise been notified that the vehicle is ready to be removed.

Customers who are unable to pick up their vehicle within the applicable period should contact Mitchell Motorworks as soon as possible to discuss arrangements.

VEHICLES AWAITING CUSTOMER DIRECTION

If Mitchell Motorworks is waiting for customer authorization, payment, a decision regarding recommended repairs, or instructions concerning a vehicle, the customer is responsible for responding within a reasonable period of time.

Vehicles left without timely customer response may become subject to storage charges after reasonable notice is provided.

VEHICLES LEFT FOR EXTENDED PERIODS

Vehicles remaining at Mitchell Motorworks for an extended period without payment, pickup, or reasonable communication may be subject to storage charges, lien rights, and other remedies available under Kentucky law. Mitchell Motorworks will follow applicable notice and legal requirements before exercising any lien or disposition rights.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

Customers should remove valuables and personal belongings before leaving a vehicle for service. Personal property left in a vehicle remains the customer's responsibility, subject to applicable law.
